Why buy this desktop?
It could suit a home office, schoolwork or a first desktop setup. The SSD is useful for everyday responsiveness, while the included screen and peripherals reduce the number of separate items you need to source.
For gaming, check your chosen games’ requirements before buying. This listing specifies integrated graphics, not a separate gaming graphics card. Do not assume that the gaming PC name means demanding games will run smoothly at high settings.
Will it fit your setup?
Allow desk space for the tower, monitor and keyboard, plus room around the case for airflow. Check the PC’s display connections against your screen and confirm the ports you need for other devices.
The listing says Wi-Fi is supported. If wireless access is essential, confirm the supplied adapter or antenna arrangement. Also ask which operating system is installed and whether it is activated; the listing does not specify this.
8GB RAM may be limiting if you keep many applications open. A 500GB SSD also needs space for the operating system as well as your files and games. If you plan upgrades, confirm the motherboard, spare slots and power supply first rather than assuming every part will fit.
What should you check before buying used?
- The actual bundle: this unit lists a power cable, HDMI cable, a 24.5-inch MSI monitor identified as 3PD7, a keyboard and a headset. A mouse and mouse mat are not listed. Do not rely on the original retail bundle’s accessory list.
- The monitor: ask for the exact model if resolution, refresh rate or connections matter to you. The original bundle’s 23.8-inch screen specification does not describe the supplied MSI screen.
- Condition: look through all the photographs below, including the case, connections and screen. Read our grading explanation and ask about any marks you cannot assess from the photos.
- Operation: the listing states fully tested and working. If you need a particular port, headset function or game checked, ask before ordering; the listing does not give a detailed test report.
- Collection: this item cannot be delivered. Contact Direct Link to confirm collection arrangements before travelling.
- After-sales cover: read the current warranty information and returns policy before purchasing.
Is buying used worth it?
It can be, if the PC matches your needs and the total cost makes sense. Compare the current price with other desktops offering similar graphics, RAM, storage and accessories, then include any upgrades and collection costs.
This unit is a more sensible choice for everyday work and lighter gaming than for someone expecting a powerful dedicated graphics card. Check those limits first, and buy the configuration you need rather than relying on the case’s appearance.
