Shipping & Dispatch
From careful packing to your doorstep — here’s what to expect.
Normal dispatch time, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
Typical UK delivery time after dispatch, not a guarantee.
Unless a different charge is clearly shown before payment.
Dispatch timing
Orders placed on working days are normally prepared within one working day. Weekends, bank holidays, unusually high order volumes, security checks and clearly announced closure periods can extend dispatch time. As a small family-owned business, illness or holidays can also affect availability. Updates will be provided in the announcement bar at the top of the homepage or by email for a relevant order. We will contact you about a known material delay affecting your order; an announcement does not by itself change an agreed delivery deadline or your statutory rights.
UK delivery
- Standard UK delivery is free and insured unless checkout states otherwise.
- Tracking is supplied where supported by the selected carrier service.
- Higher-value parcels may use an enhanced service and may require a signature.
- Delivery estimates begin after dispatch, not at the time the order is placed.
Delivery address and attempted delivery
Check the full address and postcode before payment. Tell us immediately about an error; a change may not be possible once dispatch is underway. Delivery availability and any charges depend on the address and service shown before payment. Ask us before ordering if your location or deadline needs checking.
Follow carrier guidance for missed delivery or collection and contact us if you need help. We will explain any proposed redelivery cost before you agree to it. A tracking status or signature is not automatically conclusive proof of delivery if you dispute receiving the parcel.
Delayed, missing or damaged parcels
Contact us if your parcel is late, missing or damaged. We will investigate with the carrier and keep you informed. Our responsibility to supply the goods and your legal remedies do not depend on the outcome of a carrier insurance claim.
Photographs of damage, the label and packaging are helpful when available. Please keep packaging while we investigate, but a missing photo, discarded packaging or not reporting damage within an arbitrary short deadline does not automatically remove a valid statutory claim.
Unless a different period was agreed, delivery must take place within 30 days. If we miss the applicable deadline, you can normally give us an appropriate additional period; if that is missed, you can end the contract and receive a refund. You can end it immediately where we refuse delivery or the agreed delivery time was essential under the legal rules. Refunds following termination for non-delivery are made without undue delay.
