Why buy it?

It could suit photo editing, design or everyday work where you value detailed text and plenty of screen space. Wide colour coverage can be useful for creative work, but it does not remove the need to choose the correct colour settings and check calibration for your workflow.

Think about your actual needs: a demanding display setup is only worthwhile if your computer and software can make good use of it.

Check your computer and cables

Look up the display-output limits of your exact Mac or Windows computer, including any dock or adaptor between it and the screen. Confirm support for the intended resolution and refresh rate through the chosen connection before buying.

A USB-C-shaped socket alone does not establish video support or Thunderbolt capability. Check the role of each port and use a cable specified for the connection you need. Budget for that cable separately, as only the power cable and stand are listed as included.

What to check before buying used

Inspect all photographs for screen, casing and stand damage.
Ask about dead pixels, image retention, uneven brightness and visible colour differences across the panel.
Ask whether your intended input can be demonstrated at the resolution you need.
Check that the stand is secure and its adjustments work smoothly.
Measure your desk space and viewing distance before committing to a larger screen.
Arrange collection and suitable protection for the journey. This item is not available for delivery.

Is buying used worth it?

It can be worthwhile when the condition is suitable and the total cost compares well with other offers for the same model. Include the price of a compatible cable and collection travel in that comparison. If your computer needs a costly upgrade to run the display as intended, a simpler monitor may be a better fit.
